Founder COSMOPOLITAN
When we established Cosmopolitan Consulting, our primary goal was to bring order to the largely scattered real estate consultancy business. We aimed to institutionalize it by leveraging active market research and delivering quality consultancy work. We envisioned a company that not only understands the complexities of the real estate market but also simplifies it for our clients, helping them make informed and confident decisions.
My motivation stems from a deep desire to help people find their perfect homes and make wise investments in the commercial real estate segment. There is immense satisfaction in knowing that we have guided someone to a place where they will create memories or helped them secure a valuable asset for their future.
Early Life & Education
Satindra K. Taing, the Chairman of Cosmopolitan Proptech Consulting, has built an illustrious career on a foundation of diverse professional experiences and a deep-seated passion for sales. Mr. Taing embarked on his professional journey with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Jammu & Kashmir, which laid the groundwork for his analytical and problem-solving skills.
However, it was the market and the art of selling that always truly attracted him. To align his career with this passion, Mr. Taing pursued a Diploma in Marketing and Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. This education provided him with the strategic business acumen necessary to excel in the competitive world of marketing and sales.
Professional Journey
Mr. Taing's career spans several decades and includes significant roles in some of India's leading companies. His early roles at Modi Xerox Ltd. and BAJAJ Electricals saw him navigating the complexities of dealer/distributor sales and government/institutional sales, where he honed his ability to manage large-scale operations and build strong client relationships.
At Ranutrol Group, he further expanded his expertise in marketing and management, taking on challenges that tested his strategic acumen and his ability to innovate. His tenure as Senior General Manager at METRO GROUP, India, was particularly notable, as he successfully led the company’s marketing efforts, driving substantial growth and establishing a robust market presence on a pan India basis.
Throughout his career, Mr. Taing has been drawn to the challenges and opportunities presented by industries with varied ticket sizes. He views these as the ultimate test of marketing skills, requiring a blend of emotional intelligence and logical reasoning. This perspective has shaped his approach at Cosmopolitan Consulting, where he combines analytical rigor with empathetic client relations to deliver exceptional real estate consultancy services.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Mr. Mohit Taing's journey to becoming the Co-Founder of Cosmopolitan Proptech Consulting is rooted in a deep passion for business and a keen understanding of the legal intricacies involved. He completed his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Patiala, Punjab, where he specialized in business law. His decision to pursue law was driven by the recognition that a legally aware businessman holds a significant advantage in navigating the complexities of the business world.
Even during his time in law school, Mr. Taing's entrepreneurial spirit was evident. He founded his own law coaching institution, demonstrating his initiative and commitment to fostering legal education. Additionally, he actively participated in major seminars for startup owners across India, gaining valuable insights into the entrepreneurial landscape. His interactions with top leadership in major real estate development companies further fueled his interest in the sector.
The real estate industry, with its substantial investments and inherent risks, captivated Mr. Taing's attention. He was struck by the stark contrast between the high fees commanded by legal consultants for an hour of advice and the lack of professional guidance available to individuals navigating significant real estate transactions. Recognizing this gap, he was driven to co-found Cosmopolitan Proptech Consulting. His goal was to provide comprehensive, professional consultancy services at every stage of real estate transactions, ensuring that clients are well-informed and legally secure in their investments.
Mr. Taing's early life and education have been characterized by a blend of legal acumen and business savvy, positioning him uniquely to lead Cosmopolitan Proptech Consulting towards a future of innovation and excellence in the real estate consultancy sector.
